There had been recurring rumors in Fawcett City about a subway tunnel that lead to another dimension, a parallel plane where an ancient wizard watched over the imprisoned Seven Deadly Sins. He knew it was all tied up with the superhero Shazam, but he didn't know how it all fit together, yet.
Arriving in Fawcett, he set out to explore the subways. They were ... subways. Even though the city above was fresh and clean, with art deco architecture that made it seem ripped from some nostalgic fantasy, the world below was dark, and cold, and on occasion, putrid.
After hours of taking one line to the next, he exited to get a cup of coffee. That's when he heard the rumbling above. Running up the stairs, he saw something truly amazing: Shazam -- the Big Red Cheese himself -- trading punches with a giant robot. It was, in its way, beautiful, and he couldn't help but be captivated.
